Normally I don’t post immediately from another blog, but this has it source material included and the topic is ripe for discussion because the pope will not approve stem cell research. When I was diagnosed that my cancer had returned I was 5 months pregnant with my only child. I had asked if the stem cells that would be thrown away as waste  from my baby’s ambilical cord could be used to save my life? ( I had obviously sent my doctors into a tale spin).  Just a pity this article came too late for me.
