Growl it might get you through the day.

As I sit here waiting for my epo shot to hit room temperature, I reflect on yesterday’s somber news. I guess you know it when bad news is going to hit the fan, and the control freak that you are can’t stop it. All you can do is under your breath growl like a dog that does not like the situation. If you have never growled, give it a try it is very primative and instinctive.  I am not suggesting we return to our primate state, but sometimes you have been overwhelmed and striped down until you have nothing left so my manner of coping is to let out a tarzan yell.

Cancel your appointments using the CANCER “no” card explained in Cancer Vixen’s book, page 107 When you carry the cancer card, it gets you out of dinners, lunches, breakfasts, brunches, social obligations, family functions, concerts, shows, sporting events, parties, movies, and more!”

Because you know the rest of the day will be flooded full of phone calls from friends and family wanting to know the results of your scans. My advice is to give it to them straight, don’t sugar coat it, make it simple for a 4th grader to understand. Tell them the truth as quickly as possible, you will be better off as a result.
