Three physical therapy sessions in 5 days because I was having more than my share of difficulty walking sitting, and getting up. With good amount of rest and the wonder tape my physical therapist has got me up and running again. Good as new, my Grandfather use to say when he repaired something. As the easy-tape was coming off, I was giving out a yip very much like a puppy. I felt like I was being waxed, but there is no hair left on my body! My Almost 3 yr old began to giggle with delight. This did not make me feel any better. My therapist asked if she would like to help pulling off the tape. I only heard the massive jump off the couch with glee. She ran as hard as Almost 3 can to administer pain to her Mommy. So I thought. But instead she just tugged so gently that she was doing it better than the therapist. After a piece of tape was off, I felt a soft petting sensation from a tiny hand, reassuring me that everything would be okay. I asked my little one if she would like to be a physical therapist and she said no, Doctor. If this is so, I hope she treats her patients as kind as she has treated me today.
My therapist asked if I should be taped up for the train ride, I said no, but I think I will call her back and ask her to bring the wonder tape with her. Better to be safe than sorry. A little added support can’t hurt. I’m going to want to be active the whole week.
