We are both a bit shaky this morning because we know full well that I will get the results from my scan today. The last 3 weeks I have been walking around like Frankenstein, my hip and knees give out on me regularly. So I am bracing myself for bad news. How do I do it? I meditate, of course. There is a place in the small town where there is 6 curves in the road that twists and climbs the mountain,… what some call the mule path. A mule zig zags up a mountain caring heavy loads. Step for step I too like the mule carry a heavy load.
This 6-curves-road I know very well and can envision every curve and pothole. On the 3rd curve is a place where you can see the whole valley below. I go there in my mind, and contemplate the good in my life.
